SPIDER-MAN WEBMAKER COMPLETE IN UNOPENED COLORFUL PACKAGE, #613, 1977

Inventory No: CHV-041

Issue: 613

Year: 1977

Publisher: Chemtoy Corp.

Description: SPECTACULAR COLORS AND GRAPHICS ADORN THIS REMARKABLE TOY, which might be the first actual toy "webmaker." Our consignor bought it brand new, and has kept it very carefully for over thirty years. We are delighted that he has agreed to offer it for sale. This toy is complete and unused, with the tube of webmaker, the Spider-Man Belt Clip, all four figures, the stand for the figures, and the "Pop-Out Buildings" in full color on the card's reverse. Even the original price sticker is still here. The superbly illustrated front of this large 9.25" x 13.5" card includes Spider-Man, The Green Goblin, and Mary Jane.

CONDITION is close to perfect! When one looks at this toy, one knows exactly what it looked like when it was brand new. The colors are brilliant! One corner and one side have a few very light stress creases (the largest is about 1" - as we hope our photo shows, these are basically invisible when the toy is viewed normally). One "bubble" is pushed in somewhat, but we only notice this upon careful inspection (see middle photo - we arranged the lighting to show the dent, but as one can tell from the first photo the dent is not very visible when the toy is looked at in a normal way). This toy could be the focal point of any 1970's Bronze Age Spider-Man toy collection.

Grade: VF+
