SNOW WHITE LOOKS HER ABSOLUTE BEST IN THE FOREST SCENE OF THIS MAGNIFICENT COOKIE JAR! It was purchased in 1979 in Disneyworld by our consignor, who has kept it in perfect condition during the nearly 30 years he has owned it. It still has the Magic Kingdom store label on the bottom (it cost $15.00 then, a huge amount at the time), and also the manufacturer's label on the inside of the jar. It measures about ten inches tall with the lid, and has a diameter of seven inches. It is in effect a limited edition, as it is our understanding that it was only ever offered for sale in the Disney theme parks. Molded onto the inside of the lid by the manufacturer is the information TREASURE CRAFT (c) MADE IN U.S.A. 960. We have collected Disneyana for over 40 years and have never seen another example of this stunning cookie jar in private hands. Considering the limited distribution, the near perfect condition, and the presence of both the manufacturer's label and the original Disney price tag, this could be your only chance to ever purchase a Snow White Cookie Jar like this.
CONDITION is essentially perfect and brand new looking. The base has a couple tiny chips, as made, and there is a solitary 3.5" crazing line inside the lid. The ultra-high quality full color image of Snow in the forest with her friends (including two blue birds), picking a bouquet of flowers, is truly spectacular. We grade the cookie jar overall an "as described NEAR MINT." SCANS We are providing large scans so everyone can see close-up details and decide for themselves how to grade this. Please note that the photos are a bit fuzzy and dark. The actual item is sharply printed with bright colors, looking very much like it did when new.
